Guests will enjoy duck gumbo prepared by Dale Borderlon, along with other waterfowl-and seafood-focused dishes. Ducks, Dinner, & Dale will take place at the Center for Louisiana Studies J.Arthur Roy House on Thursday, September 10th from 6-8PM. Proceeds support the Center's waterfowl and wildlife initiatives, including UL Press publication projects, oral histories, field documentation, archival preservation, exhibits, public programming, and student research. Faith House will be hosting their annual Faith House Hollywood Trivia Night! Colby LeJeune reçoit aux Studios du Lac des Cypres sa tocaille — Colby Angelle Martin — qui travaille à Vermillonville, et qui court aussi une table créole et un jam de la-la, qui présente la langue et la musique traditionnelle des Créoles de couleur de la Louisiane. Elle parle de ces deux entreprises, et un ti peu de ci, en ti peu ça et un ti peut de l'autre.

Colby LeJeune visite avec Kirby Jambon, pour parler un tit brin de ses écrits et de d'autres affaires, mais principalement de son projet de théâtre, "Le Théatre des Pauvres Bêtes," et de leurs spectacles qui s'en vient au Cité des Arts icitte à Lafayette. Il parle de l'écriture des pièces de théâtre et il explique un peu les histoires le groupe présente et ainsi de suite.

Colby LeJeune parle avec Mme Maggie Justus pour son nouveau livre pour les tits bebés — "Quoi t'après faire, Hibou Hébert?" — qu'elle a fait avec les Presses de l'Université de la Louisiane. Elle parle du processus d'écrire le livre, et le besoin que le monde a pour des livres en français pour les petits.
