Marissa H. Petrou, PhD, is the Director of the Southwest Louisiana LGBTQ+ Archive, an associate professor of history, and the Thelma and Jamie Guilbeau/BORSF Endowed Professor of History. She works in the Guilbeau Center for Public History, which provides resources for public history in the community.
