Brandon Broussard is a dance instructor both in Lafayette and New Orleans; he will be teaching and talking about dance at the Sterling Grove Festival at the Mouton Stage this weekend on Saturday, March 21st from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM, and 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM. Shamrock Week is the annual time that these young women raise funds and awareness for Prevent Child Abuse America (PCAA) and Faith House of Acadiana. Refuge: The Courage to Witness is a multidisciplinary initiative that explores what keeps us disconnected from suffering and conflict and from recognizing the potential for healing and peace. Initiated by Hagit Barkai, Associate Professor of Art at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, in collaboration with the NUNU Art and Culture Collective, the project aims to connect global and local issues while fostering communication around personal and societal healing during times of conflict. It serves as a catalyst for growth, bridging the distance between global conflict, community concerns, and the transformative power of healing through art and dialogue. The opening ceremony will take place Friday, March 13th, from 6-9PM. For more information, click here.

Creole LaLa is a monthly Creole French Table hosted by Colby Martin on every third Tuesday, meant to teach people the Creole French language. The next table will be held at Feed & Seed on Tuesday, April 21st at 6:00 PM. Dancers and musicians are also welcome to join for the jam held after the lesson. For more information, click here.

Silverbacks Improv Theatre presents Supercollider, a monthly improv comedy showcase between multiple different groups.
