The BLUE MONDAY ALLSTARS are in the Caravan today to out their spin on the beloved blues of Louisiana featuring Lee Allen Zeno on bass, Steve Adams on drums, Tony Goula on electric guitar, Gee Scott on the keys. This year marks what would have been the 100th birthday of Clifton Chenier, the GRAMMY-winning King of zydeco. To celebrate his life and legacy, La Louisiane welcomes author and cultural advocate Todd Mouton, whose new book, The King of Zydeco, dives deep into Chenier’s musical genius and cultural impact.

The Katrina Forward series will host award-winning historian Andy Horowitz for a public lecture on Thursday, October 9, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at the Acadiana Center for the Arts in Lafayette.
