  • The Bayou Vermilion Preservation Association (BVPA) is devoted to the south Louisiana waterway central to many of our lives. The BVPA hosts numerous events throughout the year to educate, learn, serve, recreate, and stay connected with our favorite bayou. Since its inception in 2013, the BVPA has been honored to serve our community and watershed for over a decade. The River Symposium is held annually, and brings community members, experts, academics, and professionals together for a series of presentations and panels to provide deeper understanding of watershed topics to the community.
