  • Hodge Podge is concert organized by students of the UL music business and recording arts programs. Unlike typical university music events, Hodge Podge is entirely organized, promoted, and produced by students which offers a rare, hands-on approach to the music industry. Hodge Podge 3 will take place on November 20th at the Blue Moon Saloon. Doors open at 6pm with pre party act, Meredith Guy.   • Festival International de Louisiane is proud to announce that Louisiana’s legendary artist Francis Pavy has been selected as the Official Visual Artist for Festival 2026. As the chosen artist for the event’s 40th Anniversary year, Francis has completed the official artwork that will represent this world-renowned cultural celebration, which draws attendees from around the globe to downtown Lafayette each spring.

The play will open on Friday, December 12th with our Opening Night Gala starting at 6:15 p.m., with food, drink specials, and Christmas songs by Devils and Trains.   • A cherished holiday tradition in the local music community, the Playathon invites students to perform in a relaxed, festive setting while supporting a meaningful cause. An acoustic piano will be set up in the gallery, creating a lively musical backdrop as visitors explore the ArtWalk exhibits on December 13th from 5-7. Join us on January 10th at 5pm for this recital spotlighting works by Black composers—voices historically underrepresented in classical music. LAMTA members and local musicians will perform solo and chamber pieces, creating a welcoming space for our community to experience a richer and more inclusive musical tradition.
