The Listening Room offers world-class symphonic music, preformed in a smaller, more intimate, salon-style setting. Concerts are held in the AcA's James Devin Moncus Theater, which is converted to take on the feel of a living room parlor. In this setting, audiences enjoy a rich repertoire of lesser-known, but highly-regarded classical music works, preformed by small chamber ensembles from around the world. The Listening Room aims to enrich and diversify the regional cultural offerings, by adding another unique and distinctive option for people to experience the symphony. January 26th, Slovenian Clarinet virtuoso, Darko Brlek will preform alongside the ASO Chamber Ensemble to present a captivating repertoire of classical music arranged for clarinet and strings.
