Louisiana Partnership for the Arts revealed the state's latest specialty designed license plate. The new design, created by Lafayette author and illustrator Denise Gallagher, features a stylized pelican holding and surrounded by a variety of Louisiana iconography and arts supplies. The Louisiana Partnership for the Arts is a statewide alliance of arts organizations, artists and advocates that empowers the arts community to enhance the quality of life for all Louisianans.
