Tribute to Richard Lormand Interview with Becca Begnaud & Syd Horn

On Sunday, March 5, a film event and panel discussion will honor the late Richard Lormard, who helped bring distinctive films to audiences around the world. Richard “Blue” Lormand grew up in Scott, Louisiana, the son of a Japanese mother and French-speaking father. Ultimately, he parlayed his own multicultural upbringing into a career as an international film publicist. Lormand was also a producer, writer and director. He died in 2018 in Paris at age 56.

A Tribute to Richard Lormand honors his legacy. The event includes:
● the showing of three Lormand films;
● a panel discussion of his work; and
● a Garden Party featuring food by Five Mile Eatery and live music by Dustin Gaspard and Beau Thomas.
