  • Basin Arts and KRVS come together to co-produce Art Circle, a monthly conversation between Dean Daryl Moore of UL Lafayette's College of Arts and two guests, a visual and a performing artist. These run on the final Monday of each month during the 3 p.m. Après-Midi program. This week, Dean Moore's guests are social dancer and instructor, Britlyn Delahoussaye, and traditional dance teacher, Corey J Frank.

They alone are witnesses to the flying saucers that dot the landscapes. Tapping into the surreal aspects of collage, her work speaks to our own private and mysterious experiences in nature.   • .James Billeaudeau is the Official Festival International Photographer for 2025! James has taken thousands of photos of the festival in the past, and this year he will take his talent to the next level.
  • Festival des Fleurs de Louisiane returns April 5th, 2025. Over 100 expected gardening-related vendors provide the show's main attraction. Festival-goers discover a wealth of resources and activities as local gardening societies host displays and informational kiosks that will share gardening techniques with attendees. Food trucks will serve snacks, lunch, lemonade, and coffee, so bring the family and make a day of it!
  • The Looking Glass Theatre presents Steve Martin's "The Underpants", a wild satire adapted from the classic German play about Louise and Theo Markes, a couple whose conservative existence is shattered when Louise's bloomers fall down in public.   • Each year the Lafayette Public Library Foundation holds our annual meeting and awards ceremony, where we celebrate the year's accomplishments as well as those community members who have gone above and beyond in the service of our library.   • “Fête de la Nature - BioBlitz and Crawfish Benefit” is family-friendly event to celebrate Acadiana’s special natural surroundings, through art, music, food and science. This free event will feature a performance by Sweet Crude. Throughout the day scientists will be leading an open-to-the-public BioBlitz to search for every species of bird, reptile, insect, plant, fungus and more living at the Atelier de la Nature! A benefit crawfish boil will be run by Chef Colt Patin of the Culinary Institute of Baton Rouge and his students. Proceeds will help fund Atelier de la Nature’s education programs.
