  • The New York Voices will join the University of Louisiana at Lafayette’s Jazz Ensemble to help usher in the Spring 2025 semester. The Grammy Award-winning vocal ensemble and UL Lafayette’s 19-piece big band will perform at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 15, at Angelle Hall on campus. The concert will feature a range of music, including selections by Duke Ellington, Chick Corea, Paul Simon, Cole Porter, Stevie Wonder, Bill Withers, The Beatles and Queen. Dr. William J. Hochkeppel, director of bands for UL Lafayette’s School of Music and Performing Arts, said that the New York Voices “will amaze every listener with dazzling a cappella arrangements and exciting charts with our Jazz Ensemble.” For more information, click here.
