The Acadian Prairie Cultural Center is holding their 2023 Youth Art Showcase. This is an art contest for students in grades 6-12 in 14 parishes in Louisiana. The UL Wind Ensemble presents the University Homecoming Concert on Wednesday, October 18 at 7:30 pm in Angelle Auditorium. The concert is free & open to all, with selections that commemorate the Lafayette Parish Bicentennial and UL’s 125th birthday.This year’s Homecoming Theme is “Ragin’ Cajuns Cheer for 125 Years” featuring selections from 1898, including music by Samuel Coleridge-Taylor and John Philip Sousa.
