The workshop will educate participants on fair housing rights as a tenant, the importance of fair housing, and general knowledge of fair housing laws.The “Know Your Housing Rights” Workshop will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, in the Clifton Chenier Auditorium at 220 W.   • Southern Gothic is a fun horror film festival run by a team of passionate filmmakers and artists from Lafayette, Louisiana. Our festival promotes the growth of our local film community all the while bringing to the forefront those who aren't usually recognized in the independent horror community including women, people of color, and the LGBTQ+ community. Hosted by horror filmmaker Brooke H. Cellars and local drag performer Martini Bear! Filmmakers who attend will get the opportunity to network with other filmmakers during the fest. We will also have a Q&A session after every block so you will get to speak about your films to an audience of horror lovers! We want to be able to include other artists in our festival as well. There will be artists vending in the Cité des Arts lobby and the entertainment will be provided by our amazing local drag community! Costumes are highly encouraged!
