Three Abrahamic religions coexist in the Opelousas area: Christianity, Islam, and Judaism. The Opelousas Museum and Interpretive Center presents an interfaith program with a panel of religious leaders discussing rituals and beliefs related to Ramadan/Eid al-Fitr, Passover and Easter. Visitors are encouraged to bring refreshments that reflect their own cultural traditions.
