Ms. Brock and I discuss the ongoing challenges with providing sufficient nutritious food the the many Louisianans who are food insecure. We examine the problem and address the fundamental concern: how is it in a nation as rich as America that one in nine people is insufficiently fed? We focus on Ms. Brocks work with Feeding Louisiana to reach out to those with food insecurity issues and give them the resources they need to make their families safe. We talk about advocacy and how people can get involved to make a difference in their neighborhood, city and state.
