Dr. Cindy Courville, the first US Ambassador to the African Union, is the guest on Bayou to Beltway. Dr. Courville, a two-times UL Lafayette Alumni, discusses her length career in government, the intelligence services, and as a negotiator of international disputes. Rising from her position as a senior intelligence officer in the Defense Intelligence Agency, she served as the special assistant to the president and senior director for African Affairs at the National Security Council at the White House. Currently teaching intelligence professionals at the national Defensed Intelligence College in Washington, D.C., Dr. Courville recounts the keys to her amazing international career.
