Acadiana Repertory Theatre presents the final production of their 2019 seasons, the developmental production of Proceed to Highlighted Route by Erica Mann.
Annabelle Powell has always dreaded Christmas with her parents. Luckily, this year she has the perfect buffer in her good natured fiance jack. But her defenses are no match for what she finds when she arrives at her family home: the unveiling of a conversational AI of her brother, Milo, who was killed in an accident 6 months earlier. An absurd tragedy, Proceed to Highlighted route explores grief in the modern age.
This play is directed by Steven R. Landry and features ART company members Chloe Abbot, Debbi Ardoin, and Scott Sonnier along with Danny Ladmirault, who is making his first appearance with Acadiana Rep. It will take place at Cite Des Arts on Dec. 6, 7, 12,13, and 14 at 7:30pm, along woth a 2pm matinee on December 8th. Tickets are 15$.
