We here at KRVS like to think we are pretty chill most of the time. One thing that likes to be chill all of the time is our Nautel NV30 transmitter. With this beast making 17.3 (TPO) kilowatts of power 24/7, it takes a small army of cooling fans to keep it cool. Even with today's digital technology, there are over 100 of these fans within the transmitter itself keeping things cool. (The transmitter itself is a feat of modern electronics and has come a long way from tube technology!)
Occasionally one of these little guys will spin itself into oblivion and require replacing. Rest easy fan 6 from RF Module 10. We appreciate your service.
