Our first interview today is with Burnell Lemoine concerning the 2019 Open Studio Tour. The Louisiana Crafts Guild is bringing back Open Studio Tours! The Guild is partnering with the Lafayette Art Association, the Lafayette Conventions and Visitors Bureau, and the Lafayette Economic Development Authority to provide a fun, educational, and enriching weekend where the public can learn about fine art and the craft production of local artists.. The tours take place on November 23rd and 24th. Please visit this link for more information about the artists and their venues!

In our second interview with George Marks & Jacqui Cochran, we discussed the NUNU Arts and Culture Collective's upcoming events and projects. The NUNU Collective is an educational nonprofit that works to encourage the development of artistic talents, skills, knowledge and business savvy by connecting artists with other artists, businesses, organizations and programs. It serves as a stage/platform/gallery for creative living by facilitating community, economic, and artistic/cultural development. At the core of development is a dedication to fostering a living culture using a combination of art, music, dance and Louisiana French. Retaining authenticity is the central driving force. Please visit this link to learn more about the NUNU Collective and to check out their upcoming events!
