Two interviews today!

The first interview is with Martha Aubert concerning the Louisiana Orphan Train Museum and the 10th anniversary of the Louisiana Orphan Train Society. There will be a celebratory open house at the museum from 10am-2pm, October 12, 2019!

"The LA Orphan Train Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to collecting and preserving those items that tell the history of the orphan train riders who came to the area by train from The New York Foundling Hospital."

The second interview is with Barry Ancelet and Melissa Bonin concerning Lafayette's upcoming Festivals Acadiens et Creoles. This year's theme is "Women in Cajun Music" in celebration oif the 90th anniversary of the recording of the famous song Jolie Blonde!

They also discussed this year's poster. Melissa Bonin is the 3rd woman in 45 years of poster making to be chosen to design the festival poster. The poster will be unveiled this Friday at Paul and Lulu Hilliard University Art Museum, 6pm. "You will also get the chance to see Melissa's exhibit of paintings "Songbirds: Nature as Metaphor" in the A.
