Apres Midi : October 14, 2019 - Shawntell Lewis

Today's interview is with Shawntell Lewis concerning Vermillionville's Boo Bayou Fall Festival! The event will take place Saturday, October 19, 10AM-3PM.

"Celebrate Halloween with the family at Vermilionville!

There will be plenty to keep the kids busy including old-time games, face painting by Laura Westbrook, balloon animals by the Fun Co., magic by Mitch Richard. We`ll also have a coloring station and trick-or-treating throughout our historic village.

In fact, the kids will have an opportunity to display their creative abilities by decorating their very own trick-or-treat bags, on-site. No need to worry. We will provide bags and supplies.

In our Cooking School, children can decorate their own monster gingerbread, as well as, crafting some other great Halloween treats! In the restaurant, we`ve got a spooktacular menu lined up to match the spirit of the day. And, wait!

What is Boo Bayou without costumes? Kids and adults alike are welcome to transform themselves into whomever they would like to be for the event. Make memories with your family and enjoy great photo opportunities at our Fall Photo Station (costumes are encouraged, not mandatory...but there might be an extra piece of candy in it for you)!

If you are interested in volunteering for this fun-filled event, we would love to have you on board. Be sure to contact our Volunteer Coordinator for your schedule and responsibilities at 337.233.4077 x.207.

Admission is $5 for ages 2 and older. So, do not miss one of the most exciting events of the year! For more information, please contact Brady McKellar at Vville@BayouVermilionDistrict.org."
