KRVS Public Media, the University's public radio station, will offer station tours to faculty and staff members at 9 a.m. on the first Friday of each month. The station is housed on campus in Burke-Hawthorne Hall, room 145.
KRVS broadcasts live from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. every Friday. The station tours will provide faculty and staff members an opportunity to see a live production and learn more about the 100,000-watt public radio station that has three content streams.
- KRVS HD1 promotes Acadiana's culture and many University events.
- KRVS HD2 is UL Lafayette Kampus radio, and it is made by and for students.
- KRVS HD3 is a 24/7 syndicated news and talk stream from NPR, BBC, and other education content producers.
